Alice Is FineSarah is thrilled to introduce Alice Is Fine. She is the writer, co-producer, and plays the title role of Alice in this Short Film.
About the Film Alice has been living with debilitating pain, she doesn’t know the cause, and she can’t seem to find a doctor who will take her seriously… Alice Is Fine is a film about one woman’s struggle to be heard as she grapples with gender bias in healthcare, and the deep frustration that comes from seeking help within a system predisposed to treat her pain as though it’s all in her head. What happens when we are forced to hold back our rage in an effort to be believed about our symptoms? The project was filmed in July and is currently in post-production, with intentions to submit to film festivals in the coming season. The creators raised $4600 to help finance this part of the journey - check out the GoFundMe page for more details about the film and its creation! |
