Sarah recently stepped into a new chapter of her career, becoming a filmmaker as well as a performer. She wrote, co-produced, and starred in the title role of Alice in her first short film, Alice Is Fine. About the Film Alice has been living with debilitating pain, she doesn't know the cause, and she can't seem to find a doctor who will take her seriously. A tragic comedy about one woman's struggle to be heard as she grapples with gender bias in healthcare. What will it take for doctors to stop treating her pain like it's all in her head? Alice Is Fine premiered this November at Breakthroughs Film Festival, and is currently continuing its festival run. Check out the official Alice Is Fine website for more details about the film. |
